Join us for a Webinar on IHL Research and Writing and the Indonesian Launch of the 2022 Edition of the Asia-Pacific Journal of International Humanitarian Law (APJIHL).

The APJIHL is a joint publication of the Institute of International Legal Studies-University of the Philippines Law Center (UP-IILS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The Journal has a special focus on the Asia-Pacific region, and collates peer-reviewed scholarly articles, book reviews, and commentary on significant developments in international humanitarian law (IHL) and related fields.

The online session will take the opportunity of the gathering of IHL enthusiasts (students, coaches, academic circles in general) participating in the 17th Indonesian National Round of the IHL Moot Court Competition 2022 (IHL MCC 2022), which will be co-hosted by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga (FH UNAIR) and the ICRC Regional Delegation for Indonesia and Timor-Leste (ICRC RDJA).

The event will be joined by Ms. Sahar Haroon, ICRC Regional Legal Adviser and APJIHL Managing Editor, and Mr. Jonathan Kwik, Doctoral Candidate at the University of Amsterdam and APJIHL 2021 Contributor. It will be held on 13 November 2022, 5:30-6:30 PM (Surabaya Time) via Zoom.
